About the Photographer

Steve McConnell, owner and operator, has 40+ years of experience in photography. He spent 23 years working for a Fortune 100 company with a combination of experience in computers while owning and operating a part-time photography business. In 1993, he went to a full-time position within that Fortune 100 company as a corporate photographer and lab technician position combining his experience with computers and his love of photography. In 1996, he left to run his own full-time photography studio, McConnell Photography, located in River Falls, WI, a fully digital studio featuring commercial, portrait, and event photography.

Steve has received numerous industry and association awards for his creative and high quality images across the state of Wisconsin.

Steve is a member of the national organization of Professional Photographers of America that are committed to learning, continuously improving skills, and excellence. He has served as President of the local chapter in 2002-2003.

Steve is also a member of The Society of Sport and Event Photographers of America. And a past member of Wedding & Portrait Photographers, Inc., Professional Phorographers of America( State, local & national) & Seniors International.
